I didn't change the connection. Just unplug the original box and plug in the spare that I strap to it with a velcro strap. The few times I've had a problem I was able to eliminate the MSD box as the cause by simply switching to the spare box.

Yeah,. but you need to have quick connectors installed to do this efficiently

Yeah,. but you need to have quick connectors installed to do this efficiently. I do not have these connecters; my setup is all hardwired
