More or less, they were designed to be a "spec" head for some of the lower tier NASCAR series around the country.......I've looked at them and the main thing I see is they need special off-set rocker arms as well as special push rods, valves too for that matter, the length is an animal all it's own........

Nothing off the shelf for a Windsor or Cleveland motor fits these heads......dats the problem, by the time you get a set ready to bolt on, you can just about buy any aluminum head you want.......

I've seen a number of the top dogs in Vintage racing are using the Roush/World iron heads, they all swear by them........

Try finding a pair iron Darts,Roush 200's or the old TFS Highport iron castings,if you really need an iron head.
Aluminum is the way to go,to run higher compression on the street,and loose front end weight.
