I think the recipe for the 427w are all very similar. I would of went with the AFR 205's heads, but didn't want to pay the 2k for a set. I am hoping for around 500HP with my setup.

you should be close depending on whose dyno it is. Im running a similar set up, on a mustang dyno its about 485 at the wheels on a dyno dynamics it;s 420 rwhp.

when I ran mine on a dynojet, I ended up a few ticks below 460 hp/tq at the wheels after some tuning & re-jetting... pretty serious drivetrain loss, but still more than I can handle. BTW... I'm running AFR 225s. The aluminum block saves me some weight, so the car comes in right around 2240 lbs.

thats a pretty darn good number, im running the same thing but with the 205's and an aluminum block and heads. I moved to a heavy steel flywheel from an ultra light weight aluminum one so im sure I lost some there, either eay there is definately enought power to make the passing lane fun.
