Some lifters compress easy? should I worry?
I was adjusting my valves [Hydraulic lifters] and I noticed that some lifters were easier to compress [while pushing on the back of the rocker arm] than others. I was careful to get the zero lash and go 1/2 turn from there.Just a note: This 351w runs great and I never had a valvetrain issue [noise or anything else]. All the preloads were exactly the same before I went through them again.
This is a Comp Cam valvetrain.
The engine has been sitting for a month and I wonder if the valves that were open bled down the lifters. I didn't take note of what valves were open during this time.
I am thinking that while the engine is running all lifters are properly pumped up and working well.
 Am I worrying for nothing?
 Thanks
 Lou
