Default Road America

Don't know if this road course has the longest straights of tracks in the US but it certainly has at least one LONG one. Good test bed for when your open cockpit 427 starts to get squirrely on you right? Curious about what speeds some of you locals have achieved there. If you post your max MPH also tell us if you're running with an air-dam or not. Trying to get some data on controllable speeds with or without an air-dam for the 427 roadster. If you're running with a wing and/or hardtop that's fine but please include that with your info.

In KMP259 we ran;

Geared properly......we ran 185 down the back straight.....

Coming down the hill to #5 .....176 mph

Main straight coming up the hill.....180 mph
