Epoxy Experts - Need Some Help

Anyone know how to remove a couple of small drops of J-B Weld on a painted surface WITHOUT screwing up the paint underneath? It probably can't be done but I thought I would ask.

Work it down with the finest razor, then sand very carefully !!
recommend 400, but nothing lower. Go to a higher grit when
you get near paint. Slow and steady will get you there.

I've worked with JB weld a lot( I break a lot of stuff ) and find that it doesn't stick really well to a really smooth surface...should have a rough sanded finish to stick well...I'd tape off the area around the weld and use a very sharp chisel with the bevel down...that way if you slip you are less likely to go through the tape and gouge the paint and a lot more control than a razor...you might get lucky and it may just pop off...get down to where you can use krausewich's suggestion.

Thanks for the recommendations guys. Soaked it in WD-40 over night, still rock hard in the AM. Then tried krausewich's idea with a razor and it popped off in small chips. True, J-B Weld doesn't stick to a smooth surfaces very well, I got lucky
