yes. I hear it all the time. cam to small. your feeding a 400+ motor.. only thing is im not racing it.. so what rpm range do we all run on the street? maybe 1500 to 3500? highway maybe open it up for a few secs.. I want this car to hook up and from light to light as fast as it can. not worried about top end hp.. ill never use it around my town.. my smaller cam made just as much torque as the bigger cam.. HR. maybe lost 15 hp on top end. torque curve is 500 rpms lower which I need for street.. although the bigger cam was dyno at 3900 and up so I don't know what it made @2800 like the small cam I think I made the smart move for street. if I want more torque ill just go with a bigger stroker. maybe a 427 or 434 w.. all under 6000 rpms..
