5.0 with a B cam running a holley

Hi, looking for some input on a 5.0 with a B cam installed and using a cobra high rise and holley carb , i had a 5.0 with a B cam and F.I. back around 2000 in a cobra and it ran fine and seemed to have plenty of power . If you ask about the B cam question on the mustang corral you will never get a straight answer. I know there are newer and better cams out there but didnt want to tear apart the motor for modest gains . any feedback is welcomed
