Capri beacuse I love Capris and Maniac explains itself, or what?

Or maybe I'm just mad (a maniac) about Capris?

(Actually it was my 1. username on newly formed Norwegian Capri Club forum back in the 90's. I sat down in front of the 'puter after a couple or so beers and wrote some rather nasty posts, doing what I could to get the Capri- community over here upset. Fortunately the forum was closed and I've - almost-stopped flaming!)

Default Toro

First it's cool to see this post has been active since 2003.

Toro: a nick name given to me by a good friend who convinced me into tracking my freshly built and painted Factory Five a week after completition.
We went to the test and tune track in Gainesville Fl me with my nice shiney new car and shiney street tires.
Needless to say I spent quite a bit of time doing off track spins in the grass
like a TORO mower.

2005 Factory Five 302/315RWHP
2009 Backdraft Track Day Car 302/307RWHP
Lifes short live like you mean it and get to work
on that Bucket List!!!

Mine is my dad's nickname (Wag) and his number (42). He played professional football many years ago and passed away in 2005. Just a little tribute to him...

Mine is for my Uncle Ralph that I never met. He died in a car accident, caused by his own reckless driving at age 17. He loved to go fast!

I can't explain mine, as it would reveal my Secret Identity.

ZO is for Zora (Duntov). I've been a Corvette owner and enthusiast for many years and I think Zora was a genius. ZO is also the Corvette engine option prefex. I originally contemplated a BBC to power my Cobra.
ERA is for my Cobra manufacturer.
SC is the body style.
7XX. When I joined, my car was not yet numbered.

Default Diegokid

Back in the 80's we tanker guys were spending a lot of time on a small island in the Indian Ocean named Diego Garcia. Myself more than most because I loved the place and volunteered. My Sq. Commander made the comment he was going to start calling me "Diegokid" and it stuck.

On my very first Cobra run I stopped at a crosswalk to let a little ol lady cross and as she was half way across, she pointed her cain at me and said "that thing is a menace"! I laughed and took it as an esteemed complement and hence the name...

Started my career trading on the CBOE and when the crash of 2008 happened, we ended up spending 24hr shifts running futures hedges as the world reacted to the financial news. I started calling my night shift the redeye shift, and it caught on in my trade group, so now they call me redeye.
