G.R. my initials--started using them to address the chief in boot when there were 2 Akins(no relation) in the company--chief told us that he couldn't keep us "dumb@****" straight, I would hence be known as seaman recruit G.R.--used it off and on over the years--
If I say anything here I would say the same to your face.
Veronica...Veronica ... where for art thou...?

Talk about hi-jacking a thread-- I think this series of posts just Car-jacked a forum column--
Oh small-block.....

But soft! what light through yonder window breaks?
It is the east, and G.R is the sun.

Geez, Mike. You can re-engineer a shift linkage for a T56 AND recite poetry..... What can't you do!?!
My user name has never been accurate. I've always had more or less horsepower than my name, but it all averages itself out in the long run.

Geo is derived from the profession from which I derive my living; Geologist (or did until the company was sold / now doing a little consulting work / anybody need a good geologist?). The cobra part is straight forward. I like both the cobra and the gt40, not sure which I want first.

I wasn't sure exactly what "Piddlin" was..
My mother-in-law "piddles" but she wears an adult diaper.
Definitely a difference between Piddlin' and piddle..

Okay so mine's the same as my "alias" in Cowboy Action Shooting, which is my other passion. It comes from the name
Joe LeFors - a famous lawman (guy who got Tom Horn's confession and who trailed Butch and Sundance) but Joe LeFors was already taken so I added one.

Way back when...our high school basketball team was in Key West for a game, and as I walked from the motel room to the pool where most of the guys and cheerleaders were setting, out of the blue one of the guys yelled out, Rex Razor, from that time on I was Razor.

W2zero, well that is just a leftover from my Asian vacation of thirty-some years ago. On the radio I was Whiskey Two Zero and I have used the handle ever since.
Dad gave me the Fletch(er) part of it.
