When I joined Club Cobra, there were only a couple of dozen members and almost everyone was using their real names so I did the same thing.

We don't have vanity plates here but if we ever do get them, mine is going to be "2 MUCH". You know the old quote "Too much is just about right".

Mine's obvious - vanity plates say 'Cammer" - more commonly known as the 427 SOHC motor in my snake.

I joined just this year, 2006. I am constantly looking for information to plan an attack on a build. I come across many old threads full of information, and some very funny. IMAGINE is the name of my catamaran, pics posted, and FROLIC is the name of my monohull. Imagine is for John Lennon's song, and Frolic was named before I bought the boat. The # 2 is to replace to...imaginetofrolic, as compared to imagine2frolic, and I still own both.

"Blackjack" Was My Call Sign In The Air Force.

Thus My Car Numbers (Cobras, Gt-40 And Italia) Are All #21. When I Was Racing S.C.C.A. And Nortex In The 50's And 60's I Tried To Use #21 But I Couldn't Get It. Instead I Used #24 Which Was My College Football Jersey Number.

Y'all Have A Really Great Day.

SNAKEBIT What can I say? Once your bitten, the venom is in your veins. Fell in love with the Cobra and no turning back.

ROUSH for the engine builder, and AC to give credit to Auto Carrier for coming up with the beautiful body shape.

D is for Donna (my wife)
M is for Mike (me)
2 is for when the server crashed a while back and I could not log on with the original D&M. Even though I could now use the original, I've never bothered.

SSCOBRA, Shelby and Shannen, the names of our granddaughters (guess who Shelby was named after). Cobra because in the 60's we were on Hal Keck's race team CSX3008, #88.

Had to come up with something for this site one night. All the usual Cobra and car things that came to mind where taken, and my Niece when she was little called me the 'bigguy" (I’m 6'5" - 235#)

In survival school they called me "Jungle Jon".

When I played football in college they called me “Animal”

hey.........call me anything but late for diner!

Mines pretty simple. I grew up around my dads 32' Ford 5 window, fell in love with the Mustang at an early age, then the Cobra, and then gained respect and a love for Fairlanes, Comets, Thunderbolts, etc., etc.. A die hard Ford fanatic and always will be.

I flew F-4 Phantoms for TEN years. Too long, but the F-4 was nicknamed Double Ugly. It actually scared some Mig drivers in Viet Nam so much that if an F-4 was behind them they would eject.

The very first kit that caught my eye and thrusted me towards this insane hobby was E.R.A. USRRC 289FIA Cobra. I thought for sure this was the body style I was going to build.

I've actually contemplated on giving this one up but it's been with me since probably 2000.

Dangerous Doug was my childhood nickname. Had something to do with the stuff I did on my bicycle and skateboard when I was a kid. I still skateboard, though I'm not nearly as dangerous as I used to be---and, I wear a helmet.
