				 351W Tall Valve Covers
Does anyone out there have a 351W with Edelbrock Performer RPM Heads, Crane Roller Rockers, and using the Branda Tall Cobra Valve Covers? If so, I need a little info.
When I ordered the Branda Valve Covers, Branda told me that he was 99% certain that the roller rockers would clear the valve covers. He, however, suggested that I might want to get a set of 5/16" thick valve cover gaskets. I have regular Felpro gaskets and I haven't yet started my engine.

If anyone out there has the same or a similar setup; did you need the thicker gaskets or did the regular ones work fine?

Summit said they can get me a set of thicker gaskets, but I haven't ordered them yet.

Paint the inside of the valvecovers with Dykem, install them, turn motor over twice by hand, remove covers, look for shiny spots.

It's a "layout marking fluid" used by machinests. Basically just the ink out of magic markers. It can be found at better tool stores. Or you can just color the insides with a magic marker and get the same effect with a bit more effort.

Edelbrock heads, Lunati roller rockers, Ford motorsports "Cobra" valvecovers and I have to use the 5/16 thick gaskets to clear the breather baffles. Tried it without the baffles but blew oil over the engine. I believe the Ford Motorsports tall covers will clear with no problem. Not sure about Branda.
