Default 351w 4"SVO cranks?

I have a guy trying to sell me a SVO ford motorsport crank for a 351w. He said its a 4" stroke but I cant find a 4" stroke crank from any dealer ship. Does anyone know if ford motorsport even makes a forged steel 4" windsor crank?

Brainsboy;
Most builders use a 400M crank to get a 4.00" stroke. It has Cleveland-sized journals, though.

If I remember correctly the SVO block uses the cleveland mains. Tons of companies make a 4" stoke SVO crank.

Brainsboy;
Back again. I wasn't home when I posted above. According to "High Performance Ford Engine Parts Interchange" (buy a copy) the 400M crank will give you your desired stroke, and the main journal size is just a BGH under the 351W's. Also, SVO makes a 351 crank but it's listed as a raw forging, which means you would have to have it offset ground at a shop. As 66ls427 said, the crank is offered by tons of companies; just do a Google search on the Web for it.

I never knew of Ford Racing or Ford Motorsports making a 4.000 stroke with a 3.000 main crankshaft. We use to use the 400M crank about 6 years ago and it took a lot of work to get them into a 351W block. Now Scat and Eagle make 4340 steel cranks with the 3.000 main and 4.000 stroke that are much better and only run about 649.00. These cranks are much stronger than a 351W block so no worry about the crankshaft. We keep these in stock as well as kits. Thanks Keith Craft

Well as it turns out, Bill stradtner was right. The guy selling the crank had bought it as a RAW forging and it was machined for 3" mains with 2.1 rods. It was never used, only put in the block for clearencing. I bought it a few days ago. I really wanted a crank that wasnt forged in china. I found a few on the internet and they were priced at 1200$. I picked this one up for 525$...
