It's definitely from a 351W block (stamped in the lifter valley). I just thought a block from an 86 Crown Vic, if this was the vehicle it ORIGINALLY came from, would have a casting number later than D4xx.
Also ... is it normal for D6xx rods to be found in a D4xx block from the factory? Or has this thing been opened up before and had rods swapped, etc..?
