Fuel Pump Blues

I recently have had problems with my fuel pump locking up or a vapor lock. It seems to be fine when driving normal, but locks up when driving hard for a couple miles on the highway. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Have you monitored your fuel pressure, cleaned the filter(s), checked the gas tank vent??

I have monitored the fuel pressure, and checked the vent, in the process to change the fuel filter. I'll let you know how that works. Thanks for the advice.

bittleton, you did not state what fuel pump brand/model you have . what is it ? bill

It is a Holley 110gph w/regulator. 12-802-1 is the model number. I replaced the fuel filter, I ran the car pretty hard but didn't get the same results. I will go for a longer drive and run just as hard as last time to see if maybe I have had fixed the problem.
