side pipes

has any one taken apart their side pipes?
i have one that the inside is rattling around i want to fix it if possible. they are jet coated and i would hate to spend the extra monies required to purchase new and then have them coated again. is the inside tube one with the outside or is it just a bunch of welded plates on some piece of tubing that is seperate from the outside any help would be appreciated

Contact EM for a schematic. Most of the time you can run a screw up through the bottom of the pipe and secure things better. Just have to know where to run the screw.

The problem is that your muffler is an inexpensive glass pack that has blown out all it's glass. Basically it's toast....
