Default cam n head question

I am helping out a friend but he does not know which carburetor he should get on his 302 for his 1989 GT. I believe he has a Zcam with hi-rev kit on the side, he's thinking of getting AFR 205cc heads is this good for a Z cam? Should he get a 850cfm carb or 650cfm carb. He told me he does not mind spending money on gas so that's not a factor.

650.....850 would be too much for that small of a displacement....

I run AFR 165 heads I think that 205's AFR are overkill on a 302. The intake valve is enormous and will not clear the stock shortblock. Neither will the exhaust. I have a 91 shortblock basically the same engine. I run a 650 dp by barry grant.
