Need help to I D Heads

Hi,
I picked up a 1988 5 Liter mustang engine and wanted to know what heads are on it,they are small valve; 1.78 Intake/1.46 Exhaust.
The only mark is 8C25 in the pushrod gallery.

Perry, that's a date code for March 25, 1988. On the underside of the head you should find a casting code that could provide more information.

They are the stock heads that came on the engine and not very good compared to all of the aftermarket heads that are out.

Thanks, you were right,they are E7's stamped on the underside.
Keith, I know they aren't the best. I wanted to just freshen up this low mileage engine[65,000 miles] until I can afford a stroker.
