GT40 heads. What's the difference?

I've been looking at heads on Ebay to get an idea what they will cost down the road. I see a few different variations of GT40 heads for a 302. Some are called GT40p, and others leave out that designation altogether. What's the difference and do they really flow a lot better than the factory 302 HO heads?
