Thanks to everyone for your feedback and information. I'm going to start shopping around, for a machine shop and for a builder. I'm also looking into what I'd be getting myself into if I do it myself.

As much as I'm focused on the destination (a running, drivable Cobra) I am enjoying the journey (building it).
