Hey Terry! Westcott- I would be interested in the build as well. My first car was powered by a 351C, and it was the first engine I rebuilt. Even with the 2bbl heads, it never ceased to amaze me- especially what I put it through. Again, id like to see some build info and pics!

Default On hold.............

My project is on hold because of the spare parts delivery time, sorry!

I'd like getting all the needed spares before the complete disassembly.

Parts i'm waiting for:

-#MOR-20558 Moroso kicked out front sump oil pan, 7quart
-#MOR-24558 Moroso pickup
-#CRN-52970-1 steel crane distributor gear
-#ARP-154-2501 balancer bolt kit
-#MRG-2663 O-RING WATER NECK FORD 351C
-#SES-5-65-04-201 TIMING COVER 351C/M 400M
Estimated delivery date from summit is April, 4th.

The moroso oil pan was necessary after a Canton pan and pickup auction on ebay wasn't that succesfully.......... Paid for the part and delivery but nothing happend, dispute is still open.

On the other hand i'm waiting for Crane distributor spare parts for my 1000-1605 high performance distributor.

Since last year, after a distributor rotor failure caused ignition module damage, i'm still waiting for the module, cap and rotor !!!!
Crane customer service promised sending the parts next month, this was in August 2006

Delivered parts from summit, waiting on the bench:
-New taylor spiral pro silicon ignition cables
-New set of engine gaskets
-#CRN-44570-16 Crane ultra pro mech. roller lifters
-#CRN-528371 Crane mech. roller cam, RPM 3200-7200; Adv. Dur. 284 Int./294 Exh.; Valve Lift .560 Int./.585 Exh.;
-#PTP-6-503 Prothane polyurethane motor mounts
-#SLP-224-41166V Sealed power HV oil pump

The pushrods length will be defined during assembly because here in Germany experienced cleveland bilders availlability is going to zero

Old parts to be used as carry over:
- CS Shelby Valve covers
- 4-bolt CJ block
- Restrictor kit
- External oil support line
- Complete engine screw set 12-point stainless from ARP
- ARP bolts for heads and mains
- Edelbrock water pump
- Edelbrock modified dual plane intake with removable divider wall insert
- Modified FE expansion tank to fit the Cleveland
- Eagle H-Beam rods, domed, for higher CR, 11:1
- 2V open chamber heads, ported and reworked for roller rockers
- Scorpion roller rockers
- Manley Chevy valves
- Guide plates
- External oil cooler

- #FMS-M-9600-R302, Ford Racing small oval air cleaner(L: 11.875 in., W: 8.375 in.)

Again, sorry for my bad english writing.

I'll keep you updated,

Westcott

PS: In the meantime i changed my radiator setup to the more original angled position with cover on top and center clip fixation, twin blowers in front.
