				 head gasket question
I want to use Fel Pro #1011-2 head gaskets with my new engine. Compression ratio will be 9.7:1 with these gaskets.
Recently someone told me he had problems with the #1011 gaskets, and recommended Fel Pro #8548-pt2 instead. Using these gaskets would result in 9.5:1 compression.

Are the thinner 1011-2 really more prone to blowing?

The engine is naturally aspirated/no nitrous. I'm using Edelbrock aluminum heads, so I think there is no point in lowering the compression ratio more than necessary.

 Thanks,

 Simon
