Best inlet manifold/carb for 418 stroker
Hi
I am building up a new engine for my Magnum cobra here in the UK based upon a CHP 418 stroker kit on a 351 Windsor.
I will be running AFR 205 heads and probably a Barry Grant Carb.
I would welcome some advice on the best inlet/carb combination that will get me the best performance but also a 'drivable' car.
I have also been looking at the Price Motorsport dual inlet for 351 which looks very cool but I'm not sure this will be as good a performer as a single carb setup.
For Street performance, you would probably want to go to a dual plane manifold like the Air Gap or the Weiand Stealth. Your low end will be more managable on the street and low end torque will be available at lower RPM's.
