No, I believe the SVO motor was based on the marine block. Essentially a heavy duty version of the stock block. 427 is about the max cubes for that engine.

Like I said, I'm not afraid of a stock block 427 stroker. As long as you keep a good oil supply and keep the rpm's below about 6K it'll be fine.
