Default Engine builder

Was just wondering if anyone has heard of or had any experience with this builder?

I don't have any first hand info on them.
Get a hold of Gordon Levy at Levy Racing in AZ. I have one of his motors, excellent bang for the buck, pulls like a troop of scalded baboons, and zero issues.
HTH,
Richard

Nelson's shop is here in Chatsworth Los Angeles. I have seen his builds in lot of hot of hot rod magazines. His shop also aired on a Boyd Coddington show, where Boyd took the customers Stingray to Nelson's shop to get the engine done. He is real popular with his twin turbo engines that make crazy power, and cost north of 30k. Don't have first hand experience, but read about him.

When I lived in the bay area, there was a guy with a 97 Z28 with a twin turbo 355 that would show up at Sears Point every so often. His motor was built by Nelson and the motor had over 7K of both street/strip with no issues. It ran in the 9.9 bracket and was very smooth on power, no lag or peaks in the power band. It was overbuilt in my opinion but then again, for the $20K the guy spent...it should have been.
