Bypass Hose
Use the OEM setup if at all possible, you will get the best results. Do not attempt to re-invent the wheel. Get the 90 degree 5/8" hose that goes from the water pump to the thermostat housing, it is foolproof, get a "balanced" Robert Shaw Brass thermostat. They are often repackaged by Mr Gasket and others, don't get carried away drilling holes.
