Default Educated guess at HP

Would anyone with experience in engine building help me make a good guess at the Horsepower of my engine. The following information is all I cam gather from B&B. I am a new owner.
351w, WorldProducts windsor SR. fully ported heads, CompCams Flat hydraulic .560/.540 298/288 advertised duration, 110 centerline, 10.5:1 compression, Edlebrock performer RPM, Road Demon 750 VS, MSD6A, CompCams roller rockers 1.6
Thanks for any opinions
Lou

Assuming it's not larger than 351 inches, not more than about 380-420-depending on condition (fresh or worn-out).
The cam is strange with less lift and duration on the exhaust side. Also depends on what "fully ported" means.

I may have reversed the IN and EX, Lauri was trying to read the cam card over the phone and I was in a noisy area, but thanks for your reply ERA Chas

Update, I called WP and they said they're probably ported by the engine builder and not them.
The cam is a CompCam .540IN/.560EX 288/298 70degrees overlap. The engine has 3000 miles on it
Thanks Lou

That makes more sense. If the rings are good I think around 400 for a 351. The design of the Windsor SR head (iron or aluminum)means 2.02" x 1.60" valves and 200 cc ports which is better than stock. The exhaust port has a better shape and direction than stock also. They are, however, about 30HP shy of AFR 185's and a lot shy of the 205's, out of the box. They would work better with more cam.

Comparing it to an engine I know of that has been dynoed, yours has similar heads/compression, same intake and a little more carb (other one had a 650 DP) and more camshaft.......Known engine dynoed at 367 hp and a little more torque, so I would guess your engine to be in the 400 to 420 hp range..........

Not too shabby for a pump gas 351-W..................

THANKS for your time and responses guys. I got a dyno sheet in the mail from B&B, they have been digging for information for me. 435hp@6500 412tq@5000. They stated .600 lift. Everyone was very close. I won't know the cam specs for sure until I dig into the motor and at this point there is no need to do it, but someday I will, i'ts just the Cobra in me
Lou
oh , if i do get different heads, would it be afr 185s or 205s, and what would be the HP differences?

If you have a .600" lift cam and are only at 435HP then the heads are definitely the restriction. Expect about 40-50 more with 205's with no other changes. Make sure the rockers are 1.6's but 1.7's on the intake will improve things if you have enough piston clearance.

I must correct my post #11. I lost sight of the fact it's a 351.
Steve is correct-205's are for 392 and up strokers where they can produce up to 70HP more than Ford heads. The Worlds are better than that so the gain would be slightly less.

185's would be maybe 20 HP better than the Worlds on a 351.

Sorry for the confusion-don't get old..
