Hi!

I see that a lot of Cobra's are registrered as a '65. How is this possible? I'm from The Netherlands (across the pond). Here we don't have to pay roadtaxes if a car is registrered (purchasedate) before '79, but you can't register it as a sixties car (only at the most recent purchasedate/modificationdate). How is this possible? And if I would import a "65" car to Europe, will it be possible to maintain the '65 date? I don't care much for the roadtaxes, but I DO like the blue (classic) licenseplates, instead of the regular ugly reflecting yellow ones.

Default Jordy,

Your right about the yellow plates in the Netherlands they are UGLY...

I fly for Northwest and AMS is my home away from home. Where are you from? If close, silly of me everything there is close, I'll buy you a Beer and you can teach me how to Roll those R's, or at least explain the use of mayonnaise on French fries<G>

Anyway, good luck on getting your Cobra. Maybe we could put it on one of our, or KLM's freighters...

Regards,

Cool good!

Don't start the pulp fiction mayonaisse subject here! "They drown that sh!t in it"

And yes, it would be nice to talk to you when you're in here in Holland. Just to chat, because I'm nowhere near my budget for my future dreamcar. Ah well, I've first got to deal with other more important (oops, did I say that out loud?) financial issues

Vee> Email me your questions. I like to have thing 'on paper', for future plans (see above).

Regards,

Jordy
