If the discourse here were even good enough to be up and down, it might be worthwhile. Hope springs eternal, but I really don't think that I can absorb any more of this.

Why don't we just suspend this before we get piston?

As I have the Billboard tires, I guess I'm biased.

Using Advanced Search and Keyword tires and/or wheels returns 500 Threads which I think ( ? ) is the maximum. Not all of these can be identified by the title of the Thread.

Another popular topic using Advanced Search is Sidepipes, which also returns 500 Threads

Don has a point, Ron. Put that in your pipes and smoke it.

You are not exhausted, you are tired.

JBCOBRA 03-03-2008 10:09 AM

Tired? Maybe just a little burnout?

GlynMeek 03-03-2008 10:10 AM

Can we not muffle this tread for a while? Everything that is being said merely mirrors other comments, and lights the way for others to follow. It might be time to pack all the superfluous gear into a trunk, load up and header out to the woods. I hate to put a brake on this, but are we not just padding out what has gone before? If you can sit back and take an aerial view I think you'll realize that we all need to gauge our true interests and switch our attentions to something with more spring to it. Time to inject reality, filter out the rubbish, pump in sanity, distribute some accolades, turn down the AC and finally cooler down. I am really trying to not fan the flames here, as I think we are trying to radiate intelligence as an indicator of our verbosity and an emblem of our sagacity. Not an issue, but a lot of us cannot handle this insulation from the real world as we try to fuse our early English skills with our knowledge of auto mechanicals and shift into the transmission of rambling forum entries!

Wheel, I guess that's all!

:)

With the Asymmetrical and Unidirectional pattern the Thread has taken, would probably be better alignment and balance by moving the Thread to " Jokes "

Yokohama - Understanding Your Tires

This thread is beginning to wander!

What an all time classic this has been, it will still be a round when the lettering starts to yellow.

My favorite line, from Ned:

And my wife was starting to worry about me sitting at the computer chuckling to myself. So no more tire jokes, OK? It seems my total lack of maturity is starting to rubber the wrong way.

Disc is a tread that we all must stop on a dime and read between the lines.

Since I recently retired , I guess I`m now a retread . However , I do remember when Pirelli and Cooper had a joint venture to make a tire called the Pooper . It was going to be used on the Mini Cooper S , but the Hi Po version called the Super Pooper Cooper didn`t look too good on the Billboards .

Gentlemen (and I use that term loosely), we have reached a new low, even for this run-flat thread.
