Tire Forum

Would it be possible to have a new forum in the Tech section just for tires?

I think tires are going to be an ongoing problem and it might reduce the number of post if all the tire questions could have their own forum.

Thanks

How about "Wheels and Tires?"
...there is also a lot of talk and questions about wheels. too.

Nedsel 03-01-2008 09:19 AM

I'm getting tired of this. Can't we just start a new tread?

computerworks 03-01-2008 09:37 AM

Mod Note.

Ned will be here all week in the Swaybar Lounge.

...be sure and try the fish.

thanks

:p

No, I'm serious, Ron. I mean, this conversation just keeps going in circles. It gets beat to death, then goes flat. And if there is one thing I have learned, it is, "Flattery will get you nowhere." Isn't there some way to pump it up?

Sounds great to me.

Ned, Thank you for airing out your concerns. :3DSMILE:

Ned,

What should we do if the new tread is too slick? Would it be better to air it out or pump it up?

Ok, I understand. I didn't mean to deflate the thread...I was only trying to vulcanize the conversation.

Nedsel 03-01-2008 10:57 AM

Clearly, you guys can't be serious. It doesn't look like this will be a very good year.

Tom Kirkham 03-01-2008 11:44 AM

Ned, in general I am serious enough that I am about to spit fire stones.

Don 03-01-2008 11:48 AM

Ron, how about the Forum name of " Tweel "

" In 2005, Michelin unveiled their Tweel concept, a word made of the combination of Tyre and Wheel '

I don't know.

I am getting a lot of pressure from Tom and Ned to stick to the original name.
It's a stretch.

Bxx1 03-01-2008 12:09 PM

you guys are hot air

GlynMeek 03-01-2008 12:13 PM

Unfortunately, the patterns emerging from this tread are starting to get dangerously close to the wire. It could start to get very sticky in here!

Nedsel 03-01-2008 12:14 PM

OK, now this tread is unbalanced. Maybe if you weight a bit, something better will come along.- And even if we are full of hot air, we're covering a lot of ground.

Don 03-01-2008 12:27 PM

The tyres will be filled with nitrogen, to ease the possibility of changing pressures influencing Ron

vettestr 03-01-2008 12:45 PM

Yesterdays discussion tread dangerously close to going flat, twice. Yesterdays flatulence discussion is again being re-tread making radial flatulence a possibility if we keep plugging away.

Spare me.:3DSMILE:

Ronbo 03-01-2008 01:30 PM

I'm beginning to become unglued about the thought of buying retreads.:3DSMILE:

GlynMeek 03-01-2008 01:33 PM

and while we are all messing with Tom's THREAD, I DO think it's a good idea to start a separate one!!!!
