SPF Mileage

I have been monitoring this site and saving money for years planning to buy a Superformance Mark III. It is now the right time for me and I came across one on Ebay in Texas located close to me. One problem. It has more trip miles(209.X) than it has total miles(185). Is this possible, or a sign of some sort of foul play with the total mileage and then forgetting to reset the trip mileage? Is there some other possible answer?
