I just bought my ticket. The rest of you might as well save your $$ 'cause I'm going to win it!

crASH 05-11-2011 09:39 AM

I was going to wait a few days to purchase but with a dare like that I'll have to buy one NOW.

Just a reminder that the drawing for this car is 3 weeks away. It was recently appraised at $42,300. Ticket sales are currently around 375. It is an awesome opportunity to win a great car.

Can you provide a few details about the raffle SPF like the SPO#, engine build etc?

Thanks

The car number is SPO 1579. Click on the St. Jerome’s link then on the car raffle link. There is a full description of the car.

Thanks, for some strange reason the first time I clicked on the link it showed only the top photo. It worked this time!

I'llbe making room in our cobra barn for this new addition.:)

Sure wish there was a picture posted of under the "bonnet". I PM'ed the owner a while back but never heard anything. I might buy yet another ticket if I could see what that EFI system looks like.

I also asked him if he still has the original pin drive hubs and wheels that he switched out to a five lug set-up. No word.

The owner is a doctor and does not frequent this forum. That is the reason I am helping him promote this raffle. I will ask him if he has the items that you requested.

Dont-

I think it is a noble thing that sharris778 is donating his car. He had responded to my first PM regarding the drawing date. It was originally listed as June 1 (but I understand is actually Aug. 1).

In my second PM I had suggested that with a few extra pictures, and some additional publicity on this site, and perhaps on Cobra Country, that he might actually get all those tickets sold. I was just surprised that I didn't hear back, especially considering not so many tickets have sold. While I would love to win the car myself, I have also donated a car to a church before, and can appreciate the fact that sharris778 would probably like to see more (or ALL) of those tickets sold.

Best wishes and God Bless in this effort,

crASH

Crash, he no longer has the pin drive wheels. Here is a picture of the engine. Sorry for the quality it was taken with his cell phone.
