My Lifelong Dream!!
Hello Everyone
It finally happened! I purchased a 2005 Superformance MKIII Cobra last week and I'm happy as hell about it. It's being picked up today by transport from out west (Canada) I guess it will arrive next Monday or Tuesday. Needless to say I CAN'T WAIT!!!
It's SPO #1950, Roush 402R, 515hp, Titanium Silver / Black Stripe. Car is in fantastic condition with only 1700 miles on it.
I can't wipe the grin off my face
Stu.

The grin will only get worse when you drive it.
Congratulations.

Stu,
You are going to love it!! The only thing I can equate it with would be... when I first got my drivers license and before I had my own car, I would constantly ask my parents if they needed me to go get something for them just for a chance to drive.
Much like then, driving is once again a thrill. Now you will be asking yourself, "Where can I drive the Cobra today?" Enjoy.
Bob

Congratulations Sawdust
Enjoy your trips to Big Shute, Balla & all the other great spots for day trips in your area.
I day trip to that area 5-6 times a year & will be up there soon, IF it ever stops raining

One of the things I noticed when I got my car is that I found new routes to places I normally go to. Going to the grocery store which is about a half mile away can take 20 minutes on the new improved route that is now 5 miles. I once found myself taking and alternate route of 120 miles to a shopping area that's 18 miles from my house. The routes are out there you just have to look for them. Gives new meaning to "creative".
Congrats on the new toy. Given enough time you'll become as strange as the rest of us.

Thank you to each of you. I know that first drive just might be a very long one
Being a "newbie" I know I'm going to have many questions. I found out today it won't be delivered till the end of next week
Craig, please drop me a note when you are up in my area. I would love to cruise with you!

SPO1715, Sweet ride you have..... There's something about Silver and Black
Sonny, no need to apologize. As long as you had a blast that's all that matters!
One good thing about waitinf for the car to arrive is I have tons of time to plot out rides!

Sawdust, congratulations. You will probably find that you will develop a smile that a plastic surgeon won't be able to remove. When you take possession of your car I would recommend looking into SCOF. Here you will find a dedicated group of Superformance Owners that can help with any questions you may have. A huge knowledge base dedicated strictly to Superformence Cobras. A great addition to the knowledgeable people at CC. Best of luck with your new ride. Rick
