Looking at a 1996 build date Superformance Cobra (bondurant car) with the 385hp 351w .... and about 9k miles..... Not perfect, but really nice for a 15 year old car.... what is a fair price for this one??

Thanks guys !!!!!

Mileage, exterior color, interior color, number of owners, mechanical condition, condition of paint, top, interior, etc? Without a detailed description of the car (and a chassis number) it is almost impossible for anyone to respond to your question.

9,000 miles, silver w/ black stripes, a few little paint chips on the front of the rear fenders, starts right up and runs great..... might need a clutch.

And the answers to the rest of my questions? Yes, they all make a difference in the potential value of a car.

What's the chassis number? I'll check to see if it's been around the block a few times...Mileage seems exceedingly low for the '96 chassis but maybe not the engine...

Well, if it starts right up, then I'd have to say $32,754.63

How about some pics?

Personally, I'd opt to get a newer, bigger, better, faster, taller SPF. There are alot of SPF's on the market. Why this one?

Patrick once again disses Kirkhams by not mentioning them.

I don't think anyone with any sense would ever buy one of these cars. You'd probably be doing yourself a favor to just wait until next spring and see if this bout of "Cobra fever" that you're going through doesn't dissipate.

No, I meant any Cobra, be it SPF, FFR, ERA, CSX, or anything in between. The guys that really love these cars have been doing so for decades. It's really a sickness. We've all seen cases of guys that think they want a Cobra, and then when they get one, they wish they hadn't. That's why I recommend that you give it more time.

Agree that middle/above middle 30's is about right. Even the older SPFs hold their value quite well because of the build quality. If you can get this car for $30K, you are stealing it at that level. Agree that you could spend around $40K for a newer build with similar miles. Shop around until you find the car that is right for you (SPF or otherwise).

What are they asking for it? There's a nice newer SPF that's priced right in the for sale section right now.
