Wow! Sorry to hear about your stars! I have the same foam "mini" protection pads you indicate. It doesn't seem they cover much of the wheel well. I've bought some 1/8" neoprene locally and glue but haven't installed it yet. I was worried about the possibility of the glue dissolving the fiberglass. It is probably not an issue, but I worried anyway. I want to get come R-comp tires for autocross and thought I better have the wheel wells protected before I do that.
