I upgraded my SPF from the bilstein shocks to the single adjustable shocks from cobra valley. I ordered the 350 lb springs but found them too soft. Replaced with 450 lb springs. Just right.

The stock bilsteins are OK. But a bit on the soft side with stock springs. If you are set on the bilsteins, then get heavier springs to smooth out the ride.

Are the stock Bilsteins non adjustable?
The Bilsteins I have each time you change springs the shop will adjust the valving to suit.

Olthoff Racing has custom valved/sprung Bilsteins set up specifically for Superformance MkIIIs. Far superior to the original Avos or stock Bilsteins.
