Steeda Tri-ax install

I just installed a Steeda Tri-ax. My tranny is a TKO-600 (part no. TCET 4617).

The new shifter didn't come with an inner dust boot and the stock tranny boot doesn't appear to match the Steeda body. I sent a message to Steeda asking if there was a boot available I could buy or do I just stretch the original over the new shifter. They never answered.

Any advice?

I have the same shifter and I was unable to find a boot for it so what I did is I got a shifter boot from the scrap yard for $3.00 from a Honda cut the top and bottom to size and used a good zip tie to hold it in place. Keeps all the dirt out.
