Assuming the MKIII you speak of is a Superformance MKIII (your question is posted in the Superformance area of CC) No chassis nuber was provided that is sometimes very helpful to get proper answers.......
You made quite an open statement with no details. BUT, I'll take a chance that the accelerator pedal issue is similar in nature to what is covered here.

There are also some Service Bulletins covering various issues on the MKIII that are available. Contact me for copies.
