Beautiful car. Given my experiences topping off my 427 though, the fill location of the 289 just invites troubles. Any slop will end up in the cockpit or wend its way around the trunk's weatherstripping. Don't ever let someone else fuel the car.

Hmm, haven't had issues with that. It refills nicely, and fuel nozzles always autostop where they should.
I carry a Glock 19 daily, and NO ONE fuels that car but me

Didn't take long for you to get those vents installed!

True, but more time consuming than I thought!
The passenger side air regulator was a pain in the a$#!@. Hooking up the cable to the regulator arm was tricky, as I had to do it upside down, and with a mirror because it wasn't in the open, but behind the regulator.
That, and CAREFULLY cutting 6 big holes in the car made me sweat a LOT. Turned out, though

THANKS, Larry for posting the updated pics!
Guys, I have a silver/grey painted set of wire wheels coming, which I'll mount up to period Blockley 205-70VR15 blackwalls. I would love to get everyone's opinion of those vs the chrome wire wheels and Firestone whitewalls that are on the car right now. We'll post pix when those are on the car for all ya'll's comments
Thanks!

Thanks, Ross as always for your comments!
Ross is correct, SPF has a fresh air kit available now that is very similar to what I installed, but is actually easier to get in the car and hook up (after the car was built).
I have seen pictures of the kit factory-installed in new MKIIs, and it's complete

The workmanship and detail on this car is a sight to behold. Congrats Jeff.
The fresh air kit is now available from your dealer.

They are reproductions. The originals are a mix of early 60's Ford pieces, Falcon, Econoline, F -Series etc. All of the pieces seen are available.
The details on this car are outstanding. We can do the same with any new SPF MK II but it does cost extra. The Galaxie clock is the most expensive item. They are getting scarce and all need to be rebuilt/restored to look and operate as expected.
