Default Brake pads advice

Hi everybody,
I'm an happy owner of a Superformance Cobra S/C m/y 2000 imported from US.
I live in Italy and there is no big eperience/parts dealers for this car in my Country.
I'm not completely satisfied about the brakes; I'd like to change the original Willwood pads (only 14000 miles done) with a less hard type, more useful for law-speed driving in standard roads.
Any suggestion (Type, P/n, dealer)?
Thanks a lot.
Albino

Part number will vary:

I would look at:

Wilwood BP-20 pads, or BP 10's
Hawk Performance

Explain to both companys what you currently have, they they can suggest a pad for what you are looking for.

Albino,

Wilwood makes several different brake pad compounds for various purposes. You may want to check out their catalog (link below).

http://www.wilwood.com/Pdf/Catalogs/BrakePadCatalog.pdf

Also, proper bedding of a new set of pads is important to insure good performance. I suspect that many people never properly bed their brake pads and that may have been the case on your car. Wilwood also has some good technical advice on their website for bedding brake pads.

Good luck

Ted

I tried the BP-10's and was not happy with them. I didn;t think they were agressive enough.

I do like the BP-20's on the street. Quiet, very low dust, work well when cold. You can order them from www.SummitRacing.com .
