Default Smiths Tach

Does anyone know the correct sequence for the switches on the back of a Superformance Smiths Classic Tach gage for a V8?

Thanks!

Yes, but my Tach has 8 dip switches. I'm running a MSD 6A ignition.

I have an older gauge. I think this: Installation Instructions, Smiths Tachometer - Classic Mini might be the instructions for the newer models.

So, if I were to guess, I would say the MSD tach output is one pulse per firing, or 4 pulses per rev of the crank. So I would try 1 0 1 0 0 0 0 1.

Great, next time someone asks how you configure the switches, you can just tell them that it's A1 in hex.
