Yes, we have several customers waiting for their build. Sales are brisk. Please explain your question. And on the Caterham side of our business we are closing in on a 12 month sale to delivery schedule.

I can assure you right now there are thousands of GM, Ford, etc. customers waiting for an order to be built. Worldwide there are massive shortages of parts, chips, etc. that have slowed the delivery of new cars.

Ok , you are a dealer?
To explain my question. I have a Superformance ordered from Hillbank and I don't have a problem other than anticipation. Do you have a cure for that? My car won't be here until around Dec. and that is winter here in the east. Oh well it give me something to think about this year. I thought maybe someone else had one ordered and we could chat about the wait.
I am a Corvette guy and I have my Corvette's to keep me busy this summer.
I really don't have a problem with the wait. But have you heard is the factory in SA on schedule? I know they are hit hard with the virus.

As Rick and others have said build times for everything are long for a variety of reasons.

From what I have been told everything is on track in South Africa. In contrast for Backdrafts the time from order to deliver is much longer!!

What do you do in the meantime? Network with owners, join SCOF, read up on our great Cobras, etc.

Unfortunately time does pass fast but that will be good for you!

Thanks Jeff, I am glad to hear that everything is on track in SA. (I could have contacted my dealer and asked that question.) I really don't have a problem with the wait time, I was told upfront what to expect.
The anticipation is kind of fun in a way, I will get one heck of a Christmas present this year and it won't be socks.
My initial post was I thought someone would chime in that had one ordered and we could chat. Jeff, I am doing what you suggested All is great.
I thought you had to have a Superformance at the time you join SCOF?

You don't know Rick (MARK IV), don't worry about him possibly being PO'ed at you. He does not get upset when someone buys from another dealer. He is a standup kind of guy. He tells the truth, not what people want to hear, and is there when you need him even if you did not buy from him.
