Default TKX Retainer OD?

Hi All,
Can anyone give me the retainer outside diameter on a TKX? I need to see what size reducer bushing to use on my QuickTime bell housing. One gentleman on here said he used the silver one. Just want to verify for sure before I locktite it in place to indicate.
I called Holley and they couldn’t find anything listed on the internet either, not sure why it’s such a big secrete, lol

Thanks
David

Just slip it over the trans first....

I have never Loctited one of those in and I would make it so that you can get it out easily because there's a chance you'll have to remove it to dress the powdercoat in that bore.

That’s my problem I don’t have the trans yet, the bushing is not a press fit so I need to hold it from moving while I rotate my indicator
The BH bore is free from any powder coat.

If the adapter ring just falls in, it's not right. It shouldn't be a press fit either, but should be a slight interference fit.

David, so I checked and it seems tremec still uses the same input shaft bearing retainer on tko and tkx input shafts. The retainer od you are looking for I assume is this one ?

I used a McLeod choke ring ( some call it reducer ring) to allow my Ford OeM bell housing to work with the tko.

I have the tko retainer in my shop and can measure it and report back.
