Smile Ammeter
I was reading up on why the SPF has all Smiths gauges except the ammeter, which is a Lucas item. Apparently "back in the day" Lucas was the source for ammeters. The Lucas appearance is obviously different than the Smiths gauges, and I never had any use for an ammeter preferring voltage readings to monitor the charging system. So I did some checking and Smiths now makes a Cobra voltmeter gauge which I am going to install in place of the ammeter (of course save the Lucas gauge with other Cobra parts ) and I am posting this information here in case anyone else is interested.
