Default Superformance MKIII Wiring Diagram

Superformance MKIII Wiring Diagram

This wiring diagram was specifically made by me (not factory supplied) for Superformance MKIII cars up thru production number #1040.

Pre #300 Cars ("EARLY CARS") are wired quite similar, except for some random changes in their wire colors.

Wiring on cars #1041 thru #1900 are also wired very similar, but there were production changes, such as a drop down fuse panel, and two relays for the cooling fans, and some wiring changing colors, Multi pin wiring loom, etc. But still useful.

Cars after #1900 ("NEW CARS") are substantially different in their wiring design. and the value of this diagram has yet to be determined.

Examples of the information Included on the wiring diagram are as follows:
3 types of ignition switch wiring.
Push button starter wiring.
Emergency flashers wiring.
4 different starter wiring options.
Battery maintainer installation wiring.
Battery cut-off switch wiring.
Driving lights wiring.
MSD Ignition wiring.
Manual fan switch wiring.
Where to add a master fuse on the earlier pre #1040 cars.
1 wire alternator wiring.
Hella Horns installation wiring.
I've also included some relay part numbers (with pin numbers) and some other electrical part 3’s & references..

Quite a few custom "Owner Optional" modifications are also included on this diagram, along with the reference numbers of any Factory Tech Bulletins or Service Bulletins that have been issued on electrical components.

I was advised to also tell you that:
“You should use this wiring diagram at you own risk”
“I assume no responsibility for it completeness of correctness”

Contact me by PM for details on how you can acquire a copy of this wiring diagram.

Default Wiring Diagram Update

Thanks for the emails everyone....
I will keep everyone posted as to the final comments being returned to me and post updates here for everyone. Hopefully, the final version of the MKIII wiring diagram will be ready in a few weeks and off to the printer. Everyone should have my phone number from my return email to them. Feel free to call if necessary.

This wiring diagram is a BEAUTIFUL job! It's 36" x 36", with everything laid out like a factory diagram, and a whole bunch of separate details for optional items like different ignition systems, standard and heavy-duty starters, 1- and 4-wire alternators, aftermarket horns, even a trickle charger.

I can't even imagine how much time and effort Blas has put into this project, but he's obviously not doing it for the money. If you ever do any work on your own SPF, this would be a very handy item to have, and well worth the pittance he's asking for them.

For those of you who have ordered SPF wiring diagrams for their cars #1040 and lower....They go in the mail Friday. I think you'll be quite happy with them. I have completed some last min. repairs, and they are at the printers....
Stay tuned for other wiring diagrams for the newer cars in a few weeks....
Thanks
