Default Superformance Drivetrain help - Danbury CT

OK,

This is a followup to my 289 Street Roadster thread. If I get one, any ideas on an installer for the engine, tranny, etc., in my area?

Also, anyone have any knowledge about SPF 446, a new listing of a roadster in the For Sale section?

Thanks,

Jerry

Don't know it, but thought of you when I saw it appear.

Joe Lapine@ Danbury Competition Engines on Taylor Ave. is a Ford guy and builds a lot of the engines for ERA turnkey cars. He built one of my earlier 351W and I was happy with it. Kind of an oddball guy but does a great job. As far as installer, I had mine done by Bill Andrews @ HRE in Freeport. He had previously done CSX4241 for me. Mike @ Stonebridge Motors on Rt. 53 in Bethel may do an installation as he does race cars and I think he did an SPF coupe at one time. He is not cheap but knows his stuff.

Hey thanks!

WDZ - I've talked to the owner, we'll see what happens.

STU - called & talked briefly with Joe. I'll stop by & see him. He says they have a shop & "Jeff" can do the install as well. I'll check that out & see what I think. Don't want to take any chance with this tho of course. I'll check the guy in Bethel as well. I've heard MANY great things about Bill Andrews of course, but I'd like to have someone local if I can, rather than 90 minutes or more away.
