Hey Let's do some ribs?

Yepper...but Byron asked for the "optimum weight distribution"...he didn't mention anything about "Freddie's weight distribution"....mercifully...! Me...? Well....everything's based on the weight of the Margarita machine...once it goes in.... well, everything else doesn't much matter after that, does it?
Ribs...? Yepper....let's discuss more. I'm thinkin' a sorta cooking competition at LCS next year...maybe at Mid-Ohio before that....or on Thursday at the hotel complex. We need judges...blind taste judges, maybe... Make it something interesting to do on Thursday just before LCS starts. Smokin' some ribs, a few brewskis...kickin' back...a few jokes and lotsa bench racin'...I'm thinkin' we may be on to something here, Brudda... Whadayathink? Let's discuss on the "other forum"...

Great, guys -- First I plunk down a large bag of cash to buy the Cobra, then expend yet more coinage to buy a new truck and trailer to pull it. NOW I find out I have to buy a billet margarita machine too!
Thanks for the responses!

Naw...naw...Byron...you don't have to buy a billet margarita machine...hell, a forged one will work just fine...even a cast one. But, stay away from those hypereautectic ones...damn things'll come apart at speed...trust me, I know this.
We got the machine...we'll have it at VIR in October with our SPF buds....you just need to get there and bring some ta-kee-ya...we'll take it from there...

I was just curious if there is a preferance to head in or back in? I just finished the Cobra and haven't trailer it much yet. ( Except to the painter) I loaded it tail first so that when I got to the painter, with the car stripped and not running, I could just roll it straight out.
Thanks
Larry

Depends on how your trailer is balanced. Like I said eariler, Tug, you need to have 10-15% of the total weight of both the car and trailer on the tongue. If you can get that backing in, I'd be surprised...very surprised - unless, of course, you have a very long trailer. I'd bet money you'll never get to that magic 10-15% unless you head in.
Of course, unless you're chassis has no engine and drive train installed, as it would when going to the painter.

Freddie,
My family all live in Memphis. Well you guessed about the trailer, 28' enclosed. I did the Tim the tool Man deal (Bigger has to be better). I used it twice and am now trying to sell or trade for a 20'. Way to big for one car and pulled by a Avalanche. 4800# empty!!!! I would love to have the one for sale here on C.C. but that would be a little to far to drive. Thanks about the info, I can easily get it in backwards in a 28' but didn't think about that in a 20'.
Bet it's nice and cool in the Home Town of the King this time of year, Humidity isn't probably over 70 or 80 percent. HaHa
