If you're not on SCOF, you should be. There's a tech article on an easy mod to the gas pedal/shaft assembly which makes the pedal height infinitely adjustable, allowing you to position the pedal where you want it.
Scott is right: pedal to the floor should correspond to WOT and the groove in the arm on the other end of the pedal shaft allows you to adjust the amount of linkage travel.
SCOF is a "Superformance only" group dedicated to helping SPF owners realize the most enjoyment from their cars. You'll find there are some-a few-well, one, especially-owners of other brands who go out of their way to denigrate anything connected with SPF, due undoubtedly to envy and paranoia over being excluded from the group. Pay them (him) no attention. He knows who he is and so does everyone else. This is an excellent source for Cobra-related information in general, as is SCOF for cameraderie and sharing of information among owners of SPF cars exclusively.
