Make sure you check the half shaft bolts on both sides, do not assume because the paint is lined up they are tight!!!! Also jack up the car and hold the wheel top and bottom and there should be zero movement, really try to push the assembly around, i know you are old so get a young guy to do it, LOL!!!! If all you bolts on your half shafts are tight, no play in the wheel hub assemlby, shock mounts are not a concern then i would not worry about it.

On a side note I raced a brand spanking new 2009 Porsche 911 Turbo yesterday, holy sheet it was fast, I was disappointed I did not walk away from him and he was disappointed he new car got beat. It was the closest race I ever had, he never left my rear fender up to 130 mph then I got off it. Needless to say his brakes and suspension were exponentially better than mine. I do not shift hard so I am sure that allowed him so breathing room but none the less a 911 turbo deserves respect.
