Tips for keeping those darn floormats in place?

After two very close calls caused by my floor mat getting tangled in the gas pedal, I used 3/8" polished carrige bolts and polished fender washers to bolt the darned things through the floor. Looks a little industrial, but not bad since I made sure the bolt heads are symetricaly placed. Have not had to worry about the mats moving ever since.

This is what I have found is simple and the mats haven't moved in two years.

I only got these 1 year ago, but ditto.
